What department chairs ask.

Do students need to pay or enter a card?
No. Students join your classroom on free accounts with your join code. There is no cost to students for classroom work, ever. Students who want their own personal cloud projects outside class can optionally get the $5/mo Student plan with a .edu email.
What does IT need to install or approve?
Nothing. FilmDocs.App runs entirely in the browser on any platform — lab machines, Chromebooks, students' own laptops. No plugins, no licenses to manage, no seat-count spreadsheets.
Who can see student work?
Student work lives in class project workspaces visible to the student, their assigned project team, and you. It is never public, never used for advertising, and students can export everything as PDFs at any time.
What happens when the semester ends?
Their work is theirs. Any student can convert to a paid plan and keep building on the same projects — a portfolio that leaves the classroom with them.
